NEW DELHI, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- At least four people died and over 50 were injured when seven buses collided with each other and caught fire on an expressway in northern India early on Tuesday amid heavy fog, local police told Xinhua.
According to the police, in the multiple collisions on the Delhi-Agra Expressway in Mathura district, at least four people were burnt to death, while more than 50 received burn injuries.
Those injured were admitted to a local hospital, police said.
Video footage shared on social media showed huge flames coming out of the vehicles on fire.
The death toll was likely to rise as some among the injured were said to be in a critical condition.
