ABU DHABI, 3rd October, 2023 (WAM) -- Officials from Chinese companies participating in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2023 underscored the significance of their participation in the international event.
They said that the primary aim of their participation was to foster new partnerships and enter new markets worldwide, especially in the Middle East, which holds immense potential in the energy sector.
The officials told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that ADIPEC 2023 was an invaluable opportunity for participants to showcase their products and services, engage with potential partners and clients, and learn about the latest trends in the energy sector, as it is the largest international energy gathering.
They also pointed out that the importance of the event extends beyond the number of participants and visitors, as it covers various issues that shape the future of the energy sector and addresses the latest technological innovations and relevant digital transformation efforts.
Harvey Ji, Sales manager - overseas marketing at Yuanda, the world's largest valve manufacturer used in energy fields and pipelines, said, "We came to participate in ADIPEC 2023 to access Middle Eastern markets. We plan to expand into the highly important energy and oil markets in the region, and this is our first participation in the exhibition."
"Years ago, our focus was on the local market in China, but now we have a presence in many major markets worldwide, such as the US and Singapore. Therefore, the next step is to expand into the Middle East region," he added.
Lisa Zang, Trade Director at Kilesake, a company specialising in energy control solutions, said that ADIPEC 2023 was a crucial opportunity for her company to showcase its products and services to potential investors and clients in the Middle East.
Tian Dayuan, Manager of the Marketing Department at Sino Oil King Shine Chemical (KSCC), stated that ADIPEC 2023 is an outstanding platform for Chinese companies to engage with potential partners in the Middle East, noting that the company already operates in two markets in the region and is aiming to enter new markets.
