• From your accommodation, take a cab or drive to the nightlife.
• Don't leave your valuables unattended.
• Only take cabs that have been certified by the government.

Traffic

Dubai has ideal infrastructure, and you can drive or take public transportation to any location in the city. However, there are a few precautions you should mind:

• Don't drive if you've had too much to drink.
• Tourists can readily access public transportation.
• Before crossing the street, think twice!
• When they see a red light, some people do not stop.

Women's NOT-to-do

• Take a solo walk outside (especially at night)
• Accept strangers' drinks or leave your drinks on the table.
• Put on some revealing attire.
• Make eye contact with men

Weather

The city has a dry, hot desert environment with little rainfall. Throughout the year, the daily mean temperature is 82.3F, with typical peaks of 106.3 in August and lows of 57.7 in January.
