BEIJING, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- The following is a summary of published science and technology news of China.

XI MEETS CHANG'E-5 MISSION REPRESENTATIVES

Chinese President Xi Jinping met representatives of space scientists and engineers who participated in the research and development of the Chang'e-5 lunar mission at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing Monday.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, also visited an exhibition on the lunar samples brought back by the Chang'e-5 probe and the achievements of China's lunar explorations.

LONG MARCH-5B Y2 ROCKET

The Long March-5B Y2 rocket, which is to launch the core module of China's space station, was safely transported to the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in Hainan Province on Monday.

According to the China Manned Space Agency, the rocket, along with the core module Tianhe that has been transported to Wenchang, will be assembled and tested at the launch site.

RED LINES FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH INTEGRITY

China has revised a regulation on integrity and ethics in medical research, making clear the rules and red lines for relevant practices by medical researchers and institutes.

The code stipulated that the whole process of medical studies, covering everything from the project application through to the publication, review and appraisal of research results, should be subject to the integrity and good faith requirements.
