BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, May 28(PIA) - Elementary schoolers, parents and teachers of Lamo Elementary School (LES) in Dupax del Norte town are in elation following the recent donation of laptops to boost information technology learning among the schoolers.
"Thanks to the donation made by the ASUS company. This will surely transform our schoolers as information technology users and learners," said Ronald Quiape, Information and Communications Technology Coordinator of LES.
The ASUS Philippines and ASUS Foundation donated the laptops to the LES through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
Quiape said the brand new laptops will also help their 199 schoolers to become globally competitive in the future through the development of their skills, knowledge and practices on information technology learning.
Lawyer Sheila Grace Mepa, LES Alumni Association President said they are grateful for the gift given by the ASUS Philippines and ASUS Foundation.
"This will help our schoolers in catching up with the technology gap and to become skillful on computer use and learning," she said.# Benjamin Moses M. Ebreo/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya
